The biggest fail is how they run the enjoyment of watching fails.
You're better off watching compilations on you tube or binge on tiktok.
whole haircut experience
youtube got a whole section for those fails (especially the "let me fix my own bangs live ones")
don't fuck with your eyebrows either.
What's the easiest way to make my TV fail?
Main Post:
This is going to sound like an odd question, but...suppose I've got a flat screen LCD television, which belongs to me. Now, I have situation in which I want to render the TV inoperable, but I don't want to do something crude like put my foot through the screen. I want it to appear as if my TV has just malfunctioned. Bonus points if the condition is reversible, but the TV cost me $100 used, so I don't really care honestly. The story is a little complicated, but suffice it to say, this is the easiest way to resolve a problem I've got and I'm willing to take the $100 hit to avoid any complication.
So, I've got a phillips head screwdriver in hand. Television is unplugged, what would be next? Is there a way I can render the TV inoperable without opening it up, or do I need to go inside and remove a fuse or cut wires etc?
Thanks in advance!

Some TV Channels fail to play in Emby
Main Post: Evening all! I have been having an issue and was hoping to get some support. Trying to get Live TV working on Emby using Threadfin to organise some m3u sources. Essentially, my issue is that the main channels I want to watch do not load in Emby. The error given to me in Emby by ffmpeg is "Invalid data found when processing input" - raw source m3u loaded in VLC on PC - plays fine - raw source m3u loaded into Emby - BBC TV channels fail, other channels OK - Threadfin m3u loaded into VLC on PC - plays fine - Threadfin m3u loaded into Emby - BBC TV channels fail, other channels OK I live in the UK, so access UK based channels (BBC) should not be an issue I think if its location related. "ipinfo" tests within docker tell me I appear in the UK. So far I tried; - Putting threadfin behind a VPN pointed to the UK - many "user agent" entries, including mozilla, VLC, and some TV's. I tried these in Threadfin, and also Emby. - disabling transcoding in user settings and emby transcode menu I'm at a loss at to what is wrong here - I'd really like these channels for my family. I've tried two sources that I can find for these channels, both seem to have the same issue Do we think its something to do with sensitivity to stream format? Is there a way to verify this, or relax that restriction? (I have no desire to record etc, just watch). ffmpeg-transcode-6d4ef7a9-0610-47bb-affe-2a7f8c525d40_1.txt

Mixed content libraries fail to identify TV shows correctly in 10.8.0
Main Post:
Hello,
Mixed content libraries (Movies + TV shows) don't work anymore in 10.8.0, it fails to identify TV shows with seasons and episodes correctly. It used to work before the update though. Now only the movies are correctly identified. Every folders that have more than one file just show as generic folders in Jellyfin with untidy files in it.
Has something changed? Is it a regression? I was thinking maybe the naming convention has changed but nothing is indicated in the documentation.
P.S: For people who wants to know I use a mixed content library for my documentaries, it's very practical as sometimes a documentary can come in several episodes or in a single film.
Thank you.
Top Comment:
The mixed content library is notoriously bad. What I do for my anime library is set it to TV shows and just manually enter the metadata for movies/OVAs/Extras/etc with .nfo files, poster.jpg, backdrop.jpg, etc.
It’s a one day pain in the ass vs. fighting the horrible detection system(and losing).
Retroarch fails to install on my Android TV
Main Post:
I've had this new TV for a couple weeks now and only now realized that you can install Retroarch on it. Upon trying this, the install failed on both versions of Retroarch (normal and Plus). I even tried manually installing every Android build of Retroarch on the website (32 Bit and 64 bit versions) and every time the installation just fails after the progress bar does all the way up.
Not sure what else I could do to fix this.
My android tv is a Bravia 4K VH2 on firmware 4.19.75 Running Android TV V10 Hope this helps
Top Comment: You have to get it from the google play store. Android TV is not the same as Android.
Fire TV fails to resume, All other Fire Sticks work fine. New Plex server; Is there a setting i'm missing?
Main Post:
My Toshiba fire TV/Plex app starting having this issue where if you pause a movie and wait a while, you will be unable to resume it. I can resume the movie/show from other fire sticks and devices no problem. I kill the app, clear cache, no change. usually i have to physically power cycle the television. The other "fire sticks in regular TV's" in the house work flawlessly including the latest one that just came out this week.
Server was recently moved to a dell T7600, xeon 12 core 2ghz cpu with 32gig ram and raid10 disk array running windows 7 and a 1gig lan connection to the router.
Is there a setting i should try that i missed?

Update: seems like if you change the video quality to "adjust automatically" it will work. Its almost like the ethernet connection on the TV is junk (probably, as they were super inexpensive)
Examples of live television failures?
Main Post:
Hi guys,
I'm looking for examples of when a live production has completely failed while on-air, and by this I don't mean because a bird has flown into a news reporters face, but I mean a logistical or communication error has caused the show to break down.
Thanks!
Edit: Thanks for all the replies! I have just finished a live and interactive show as part of my uni coursework, interesting to see how the professionals screw up as well! :D
